is situated on 408 acres of oak and cedar covered terrain.
Thousand Trails Lake Whitney is a membership resort although we do welcome guests with reservations.
We offer full hook up sites and rental trailers; an adult lodge and pool/ spa, basketball court, family lodge and swimming pool, horseshoe pits, laundry facilities and mini golf, nature trails, pickleball court, tennis, and volleyball, RV storage, RV supply store and a pavilion with kitchen for your group or gathering.
To get to us from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex: Drive south on I-35 east or I-35 west to the merger of I-35 east and I-35 west, just north of Hillsboro. Proceed on I-35 south to Hillsboro/Business Route 77 (exit 370). West on Business Route 77 to the second signal light (the intersection of Business Route 77 and Hwy 22). Turn right and go 12 miles. As you approach Whitney, veer right at the 'Y' onto Business Route 22. At the signal light turn right onto FM 933 and go 5 miles. The Thousand Trails Lake Whitney Preserve entrance is on the left.
