"The Pure Choice"

This large Ice plant is located at 619 East Jefferson in Whitney Texas. It has been in the Peters family since January 1st 1960. It has been remodeled and enlarged several times and now has a capacity of 400,000 pounds of ice making each 24 hours.

It serves its customers in a near 80 mile radius in such cities as Athens, Belton, Hamilton, and with its sister plant in Dallas serves customers up to the Oklahoma border in Denison, Sherman, etc.

The plant employs some 25 people and is a key contributor to this community's general welfare including financial support to many worthwhile programs.
