Lake Whitney Arts

Founded in 2004, The Lake Whitney Arts Association was formed when a group of supporters of the arts got together and realized that there is a wide range of artistic talent in the area.

Since then, the organization has focused on performing several plays each year. Each show runs two weekends, with the first weekend featuring a dinner theatre production.

In addition, Lake Whitney Arts hosts drawing, painting, and dancing classes, and a photo contest. It also holds a summer craft and drama camp for kids. Stage One, the children's theatre group, performs a summer show and a Christmas show each year.

The theatre is located at 500 S Bosque (Highway 22). When not being used for shows or rehearsals, the theatre is available for rental for parties, receptions, and meetings. For more information, or to buy tickets, go to their website or call 254-694-5105.
