McCown Valley Association

The Association operates a Community Center that serves the Lake Whitney Area. We have members from all over Texas. The objective is to provide a meeting place dedicated to friendship and community service.

Activities

Exercise

This group meets three days a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:30 A.M. for 45 minutes. These sessions are free to anyone who wishes to improve their circulation and health. They exercise to Richard Simmons, Silver Foxes video tape. This is a very low impact aerobic workout from which anyone can benefit. Come on - it's fun.

Blue Bonnets

This group of ladies meets at 10:00 A.M. on the third Tuesday of each month. They usually have a guest speaker and a covered dish luncheon. Come join the Blue Bonnets for fellowship, education, and friendly conversation.

Arts and Crafts

This group meets every the 2nd and 4th Monday morning, of each month, at 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. Please bring a sack lunch.  Everyone is welcome. A small fee will be asked to pay for materials.

Bridge

The Four Seasons Bridge Club meets every Thursday at 12:00 P.M.

Game Night

Every Thursday night at 6:30 P.M. we play Texas "42". Other members join in game night by bringing their own group and games to enjoy fellowship with their friends. We bring some type of snack food to be shared by all at the break.

North from Whitney on FM 933 1.6 miles to FM 1713, then left to MVA, on your right. Look for the sign.
