Texas' Largest Fish Fry

West Shore Volunteer Fire Department hosts "Texas' Largest Fish Fry". Over 2,000 people are served thousands of pounds of fish, fries, and fixin's. The event has been held for over four decades.

Live entertainment is provided, and a dance floor is available. The fish fry fundraiser is held at the fire hall on Shore Acres in Laguna Park, west of the Whitney Dam.
